Lucas again, writing from Budweiser’s Northeast sales region. A few weeks ago I had the good fortune of celebrating St.Patric’s day in the city of Boston. By far the craziest St.Patric’s day I have ever experienced, and it didn’t hurt that it fell on a Saturday. Happy to report that the local WOD was on its A-game and Bud Light ruled the day in the streets of Boston.
And NO… a whole day of drink was not enough to satisfy the thirsty Bostonians who were out in mass the very next day for the Southie St.Patric’s Day parade!
The weekend was a welcome break from the long hours spent tracking and measuring retail and on-premise execution in the region. It has been very rewarding to see our region kicking ass in the FTF Tap incentive and King of Distribution objectives, amongst others. After getting off to a fast start in 2012 it was a welcome surprise to be invited to my first Boston sporting event by my boss last Tuesday… and the Bud Light keeps flowing!
